As a Senior Engineering Manager within Sam's Tech, you'll be leading the team responsible for the development and deployment of our Data Platform Infrastructure. This team of software engineers provides the foundational "lakehouse" on which Sam's data science, analytics, and reporting is built upon. Providing a stable, secure, and performant platform is key to the future success of our business initiatives.

• Lead and Mentor : Oversee a team of talented engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and career development opportunities
• Technical Leadership : Drive the design, development, and implementation of cloud-based lakehouse solutions. This includes :

Modernizing data processing environments and associated capabilities

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1 : Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years' experience in software engineering or related area. Option 2 : 7 years' experience in software engineering or related area.

2 years' supervisory experience.
