We are looking for an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Dallas, Texas. This role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of collaborating effectively with attorneys, clients, and other staff while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. This is an onsite position with a duration of 1-2 months.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure all documents – drafts, executed versions and correspondence are promptly and accurately saved in the firm’s document management system (Clio)
- Assist with closing binders and post-closing document organization
- Work closely with attorneys to track documents, deadlines and deliverables and communicate with clients and title companies and other parties as needed.
- Help attorneys stay on top of next steps by maintaining transaction checklists, calendars and task lists and provide general administrative support including scheduling and correspondence.
- At least 3 years of recent real estate paralegal experience
- A Bachelor’s degree or a paralegal certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal rules and procedures.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Pro.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.
