Job Description

116-bed skilled nursing facility is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Dietitian (RD) to join our team.

About the Role :

The Licensed Dietitian will play a critical role in supporting our residents' nutritional health and overall well-being. This position offers flexibility in hours and the option for some remote work; however, on-site presence is required at least 12 days per week to ensure high-quality care and facility support.

Key Responsibilities :

Complete nutrition evaluations for all new admissions

Conduct annual nutrition reviews and assessments

Monitor and address significant weight changes in residents

Attend weekly interdisciplinary team meetings to support care planning

Perform monthly kitchen inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Participate in quality assurance initiatives and ongoing facility improvement efforts

Schedule & Flexibility :

Flexible hours, coordinated with the RD to meet facility needs

Option for some remote work; on-site presence required at least 1 to 2 days per week

Compensation :

$55 - 65 per hour depending on experience

Qualifications :

Licensed Registered Dietitian (RD) in the state of California

Experience in a post-acute, skilled nursing, or long-term care setting preferred

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Passion for improving resident outcomes and supporting facility standards
