Position: Special Education Teacher

Location: Dearborn, MI 48124
Pay Rate: Starting at $50/hour

Schedule: 8am-3pm (would be open to part time candidates as well)

Position Overview:
Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Dearborn, MI. This full-time role supports a caseload of approximately 8 students grades K-5th.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Provide individualized instruction and support to students with special needs.
  
• 
  Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal requirements.
  
• 
  Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and related service providers.
  
• 
  Monitor and document student progress toward academic and behavioral goals.
  
• 
  Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid Michigan teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
  
• 
  Experience working with students with emotional impairments or related exceptionalities.
  
• 
  Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
