Swim Lesson Instructor (part-time)
Incorporated in 1955 and encompassing more than 454 acres, the Mt. Prospect Park District provides outstanding recreational programs, events, parks, facilities and services.
With seven primary facilities and 27 neighborhood parks, the Park District is an integral part of a thriving multi-generational community.
District open space includes two outdoor pools, biking and walking paths, a dog park and sizable space for outdoor athletic programming.
The District covers over 11 square miles and serves a region of over a quarter million residents in Mount Prospect and surrounding communities.
We are searching for part-time Swim Lesson Instructors. We are willing to train energetic and reliable people with an interest in Aquatics! The pay rate for non-certified Swim Lesson Instructors teaching swim lessons is $15.
00 per hour. The non-certified rate when training for the non-certified Swim Lesson Instructor position is $14.00 per hour.
During the outdoor pool season, additional hours working as a Cashier may be available. The pay rate when working as a Cashier is $14.
00 per hour. Part-time park district employees also receive facility privileges and discounts. Must be at least 15 years old when working as a Swim Lesson Instructor.
Must be at least 16 years old when working as a Cashier or Raft Attendant. Candidates must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
