Payroll Operations Employee Service Specialist
Location : Greenville, SC
Rate : $30 - $33 / hr
Hybrid : M / T / W in office, Th / F remote
The first 2-3 weeks of training will be fully in the office
Job Description :
Responsible for coordinating and executing employee payroll tasks with a Managed Services Provider. Duties include processing reports, maintaining data for legal and audit purposes, and handling service inquiries from employees, managers, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with payroll associates and business partners.
- Enter job, salary, and personal data accurately and timely.
- Manage payroll processing deadlines with Managed Services Provider.
- Resolve data discrepancies between HRIS and payroll systems.
- Analyze and correct pre- and post-payroll audit reports.
- Support the garnishment process and comply with audit requirements.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for time and payroll system functionality.
- Provide employee support on records, time input, earnings, deductions, and tax.
- Support HR, Benefits, Compensation, and Finance colleagues.
- Resolve tickets in ServiceNow and ADP CRM tools.
- Ensure data privacy, security, and SOX compliance.
- Prepare and process off-cycle payrolls for state regulation compliance.
Qualifications :
Associate degree or equivalent experience.3-5 years of multi-state payroll processing experience (5,000 EEs).Experience with ADP GlobalView, Ceridian Dayforce, or SAP preferred.Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) preferred.Additional Skills :
Understanding of end-to-end Payroll Processing Cycle.Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.Strong analytical and organizational skills.Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities.Customer service orientation and relationship management skills.Attention to detail and data entry accuracy.Advanced Excel proficiency and strong Microsoft Office skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Integrity and confidentiality in handling employee information.Benefits :
