Key Role :

Act as aRisk Management and Mission Assurance Specialist to join our growing team. Advance our Business Continuity (BC) program with an emphasis on the business continuity, incident management and crisis management functions.Leverage subject matter expertise to our BC Stakeholders on all phases of the Business Continuity lifecycle with a high emphasis on Business Impact Analysis (BIA), plan development, Testing, Training and Exercises (TT&E) and performance metrics.Develop, maintain and exercise BC plans in conjunction with our BC Coordinators (BCCs), business process owners and recovery teams. Respond to and manage recovery teams through disasters, crisis, and disruptive incidents affecting Booz Allen, its staff, or its operations.Ensure that robust, action-oriented and exercisable BC plans exist with all corporate departments.Leverage high-quality interpersonal skills to form strong and trusted partnerships with all BC stakeholders.Perform critical business process dependency mapping to ensure critical dependencies, such as our IT applications, have recovery capabilities that meet our business needs.Support incident response, coordinating and managing Incident Command Teams through disasters and disruptive incidents affecting Booz Allen, its staff, or its operations. Support the Crisis Management program by assisting in the development and implementation of strategies to effectively manage and mitigate the impact of crises.Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications :

• 3+ years of experience with managing or supporting a corporate business continuity program for a private sector organization
• Experience with developing, testing, and maintaining BC plans
• Experience with developing, gathering, and reporting on BC performance metrics
• Knowledge of all phases of the Business Continuity lifecycle including incident and crisis management
• Experience in creating cross-functional relationships within the globally dispersed Incident Command Team program, including developing and facilitating training on incident response
• Knowledge of mass emergency communication tools and best practices, such as Everbridge or AlertMedia
• Ability to work within an on-call rotation schedule for crisis response
• Ability to facilitate tabletop and functional exercises
• Ability to effectively present in front of employees at all levels of the organization including senior leadership
• Bachelor's degree in a Business Continuity, Risk Management, or Emergency Management field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
