The Jonsson Manufacturing team is responsible for bringing our garments to life by consistently producing high quality products in order to serve our customers brilliantly. Part of Jonsson Manufacturing will be based in Eswatini where we are building a state‑of‑the‑art facility which will include cutting‑edge technology and machinery, supporting us on the pursuit to find like‑minded people to drive this revolutionary business.

The General Manager will play a pivotal role in the comprehensive leadership of the manufacturing operations in Eswatini ensuring that raw material supply, planning and manufacturing resources are aligned and synchronised for on time in full delivery of our product, allowing our customers to always be delighted by our product quality and speed of delivery.

The main responsibilities of the role include :

• Strategically align production and resources to meet financial budgets and customer demand in an OTIF (On Time In Full) way.
• Ensure overall manufacturing objectives of Lead Time, Efficiency, Quality, Safety and Cost are met.
• Ensure continuous improvement programmes throughout the operations are carried out by Operational Leaders.
• Ensure that the Jonsson Manufacturing values are upheld, and that the operational team achieve their objectives.
• Maintain an uncompromising approach to quality and ensure our standards are brilliantly met across all production processes.
• Up‑skill and coordinate training on an ongoing basis.
• Oversee that the Operations Team practice and maintain safe working procedures, whilst ensuring good housekeeping and cleanliness.
• Engage in ongoing coaching with staff.
