A Day in the Life :
The HR Assistant is the welcoming face of the HR team, supporting onboarding, employee records, payroll changes, HR projects, events, and general staff inquiries. In this role, you'll guide employees through key HR processes, ensure data accuracy and compliance, and help create a positive, service-focused experience for every team member from onboarding forward.
You'll be a critical part of day-to-day HR operations, supporting candidates, new hires, and current employees while helping the team deliver smooth and efficient HR services.

Key Responsibilities :
The Human Resources Assistant will assist staff with HR-related matters and inquiries, providing exceptional customer service. You will utilize the HRIS daily to enter, process, verify, and approve employee information, ensuring compliance with standards. Your role will also involve supporting new hire onboarding and orientation, conducting biweekly payroll audits, ordering office supplies, processing unemployment claims paperwork, representing SOAR365 in VEC hearings, and providing front desk coverage as needed, Additionally, you will assist with human resources events and projects.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or a related field. A bachelor's degree in human resources or business is required. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required. Effective public speaking and presentation skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential.
