Coordinate Measuring Machine Programmer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector / CMM Programmer with strong expertise in Zeiss Calypso programming to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This role is responsible for developing and optimizing CMM programs for first article (FAI), in-process, and final inspection , while ensuring all materials and finished products conform to customer specifications, aerospace standards, and company requirements . The ideal candidate is hands-on with inspection but excels at CMM programming and GD&T interpretation to support precision manufacturing.

Qualifications

Required :

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 8 years of inspection and / or precision manufacturing experience.
• Strong proficiency in Zeiss Calypso CMM programming .
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
• Strong working knowledge of precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gages, indicators, thread gages).
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to communicate inspection results clearly to machinists, engineers, and quality teams.
• Strong math skills, including ability to calculate tolerances, fractions, ratios, and proportions.
• Must be able to lift / move up to 50 pounds occasionally and meet required vision standards.
