Senior Electrical Designer

We’re partnering with a leading employee-owned consultancy to hire a Senior Plant Electrical Designer for an exciting new team in Austin. This role centers on power plant and industrial plant projects , delivering detailed electrical system designs with minimal input from engineers.

What you’ll do :

• Create layouts, duct banks, conduit & cable tray systems, one-lines, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Deliver construction-ready drawings in 2D / 3D CAD
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, API, and related standards
• Collaborate across disciplines and mentor junior staff
