EDUCATION : Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Information Technology or related field
EXPERIENCE : 5+ years of relevant experience
Responsibilities
Cybersecurity
- Implement best practices for cybersecurity, compliance, and disaster recovery to safeguard sensitive data and ensure business continuity
- Regularly review information security platforms and respond to security incidents
- Implement and manage security protocols, firewalls, and access controls
- Document cybersecurity controls, system configurations, processes, procedures, and assist with compliance efforts
Network Management
Integrate network equipment, endpoints, servers, and IOC devices in the various network and element management platformsMonitor system performance, security, and availability to ensure high uptime and reliabilityTroubleshoot system failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actionsProvide technical support and guidance to internal teams and end-usersPerform updates and patch management for all devices in the networkInfrastructure Automation and Scripting
Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate deployments and reduce manual workUtilize all tools available to write and maintain scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to improve system efficiency and consistencyEndpoint Management
Manage and support laptops, desktops, and mobile devices across their lifecycleUtilize endpoint management tools for updates, security compliance, and inventory trackingEnsure device security hardeningServer Management
Deploy and support Windows and Linux platforms in physical and virtual environmentsManage server infrastructure through patches, upgrades, and the various tools identifying security vulnerabilities and performance issuesManage various virtualization technologies for server implementation (VMware, XCP-ng, XenServer, Harvester)Collaboration and Support
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new software, applications, and updatesAssist with root cause analysis and long-term corrective actions for system failuresMaintain accurate documentation, configurations, changes, and proceduresStay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on our infrastructure and recommending strategic enhancementsAct as point of escalation for infrastructure items, including nights, weekends and holidaysRespond to telephone calls, emails and tickets with professionalism and courtesy within established response guidelinesEnter time and expenses in CCR systems as they occur and submit for approval by the designated deadlineManage performance to achieve expected resultsExemplify and promote CCR valuesFollow client guidelines for access and safety protocols at client job sitesPerform other duties as assignedDesirable Previous Experience
Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or PuppetKnowledge / Experience with Linux Operating Systems (Ubuntu, RedHat)Knowledge / Experience with Windows Operating SystemsKnowledge / Experience with SQL databases (MS SQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL)Familiarity with networking & server virtualization technologies (e.g., XCP-ng, VMware, XenServer, Harvester)Understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP / IP, DNS, VPNs, and firewallsFamiliarity with monitoring and management tools (e.g., N-central, Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds)Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze complex systems and implement effective solutionsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsCertifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are a plusWhy CCR
