Finishing Department Manager
Shaw is searching for a Department Manager to lead the Finishing Department in monitoring progress against schedules, conformance, production levels, safety and associate relations. Position will manage processes or key components of processes as well as the coordination of operational issues within the manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities :
- Work with management leadership to ensure plant objectives are achieved in Safety, Quality, Engineering and Maintenance by establishing open lines of communication, fostering a team approach, and setting the correct priorities.
- Investigates equipment problems and collaborates with Plant Engineering relative to repairs and modifications.
- Responsible for ensuring goods are finished and shipped out of the plant on a timely basis at the least cost, highest quality, and in the safest manner.
- Directs raw material control efforts within the department. Serves as primary liaison with latex material suppliers.
- Responsible for maintaining on-going quality improvement plans to drive quality improvement in the Finishing department. Quality plans should include, but not be limited to claims, shorts, and off quality.
- Responsible for process specifications.
- Give direction and support to department associates with regard to achieving departmental goals and objectives as well as coordinate and maintain the Finishing department's workforce in order to ensure that the goals and objectives are feasible.
