Position Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Data Analytics Specialist / IT Data Analytics Manager to join our team in a hybrid capacity based in Charlotte, NC. This individual will play a key role in managing and analyzing large and complex datasets to provide actionable insights related to IT hardware inventory and logistics. The ideal candidate will be hands-on in data extraction, integration, reporting, and visualization, leveraging tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python to drive data accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Extract, clean, and integrate large datasets from multiple sources to generate data-driven insights supporting IT hardware inventory and logistics.
Maintain and enhance databases, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems.
Develop and automate reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-making and performance tracking.
Conduct data audits, validation, and quality control to ensure adherence to data governance standards.
Design and implement advanced formulas, pivot tables, and analytics within Excel; utilize SQL or Python for more complex data manipulation and analysis.
Support IT projects and assignments by providing comprehensive data analytics and visualization deliverables.
Manage and execute project tasks, deliverables, and milestones while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and business owners.
Optimize workflows and processes to improve efficiency and scalability of data operations.
Document and communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications & Requirements
5+ years of experience working with large and complex datasets, preferably in IT data analytics or a related field.
Proven ability to manipulate, analyze, and interpret data to produce clear, actionable insights.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, calculations, pivot tables, and data modeling).
Strong command of SQL and / or Python for data querying, transformation, and analysis (highly preferred).
Experience developing reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses across various platforms.
Excellent attention to detail with strong data accuracy and organizational skills.
5+ years of project management experience, including managing timelines, deliverables, and communications with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker .
Familiarity with IT asset management or logistics data models.
Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and best practices for enterprise data management.
