About the Position

Maintain and analyze the general ledger and monthly activities from divisions and acquisitions into Oracle ERP system (including financial reporting software Oracle Hyperion)

Participate in the month-end close process, including responsibility for revenue reporting, preparation and review of journal entries, and the preparation of the P&L

Extract, reconcile, and analyze financial data from various agency management platforms, including EPIC and BenefitPoint.

Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, accounting, and data teams to validate and enhance reporting integrity.

Research, identify, and communicate key variances relating to financial and operational metrics

Assist in integrating M&A deals into the existing operations, including tracking of earnout calculations

Improve upon existing reporting as requested by management

Provide ad-hoc financial and operational analysis to support business decisions

Contribute to preparation of business presentations for Executive management

High degree of involvement in annual budget process

Review and maintain producer compensation reporting

Assist Finance management with day to day tasks and special requests

Position Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting processes.

Proficiency in financial systems and tools; (experience in agency management systems such as EPIC and BenefitPoint is a plus)

Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, and managing large datasets.

Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

Strong ability to learn new systems

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to work under tight deadlines and willingness to work overtime, particularly during the month-end close and budget process

Proactive drive to get things done and anticipate what is needed

At least 4 years of experience
