Staff Accountant

We are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. This contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your accounting expertise while contributing to the financial success of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate tax, general ledger management, and financial consulting.

Responsibilities :

Prepare and manage corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Oversee sales tax filings and maintain accurate documentation.

Create and review journal entries to maintain the integrity of accounting records.

Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.

Assist in automating accounting tasks and improving processes for efficiency.

Develop detailed project plans related to financial operations and expense management.

Provide insights and recommendations through financial consulting services.

Support the accounting close process and ensure timely reporting.

Analyze and define projects related to construction accounting and resource allocation.

Contribute to the implementation of accounting systems and standards.

Requirements :

Proven experience in corporate tax processes and compliance.

Strong knowledge of general ledger and journal entry management.

Familiarity with accounting software systems and automation tools.

Expertise in financial consulting and strategic planning.

Ability to manage accounting close processes and reconcile accounts.

Solid understanding of accounting principles, including GAAP and IFRS.

Experience with project planning and construction accounting.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
