Assembly Technician
We are seeking an Assembly Technician to support complex production and warehouse tasks, including picking, packing, assembly, and inventory control. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and safety of our production processes.
Responsibilities :
Train and mentor team members on standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and equipment use.
Perform quality checks and troubleshoot issues to ensure product accuracy and compliance with specifications.
Operate and maintain warehouse systems such as SAP and WMS for inventory tracking, order fulfillment, and reporting.
Coordinate with supervisors and cross-functional teams to meet production goals and resolve material or workflow issues.
Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure adherence to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory practices and assist with cycle counts and audits.
Promote and uphold a safe work environment through regular safety checks and participation in training.
Essential Skills :
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred.
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse environment.
Proficiency with warehouse management systems such as SAP, Sphere WMS, and LXE.
Strong understanding of inventory control, shipping / receiving, and production workflows.
Ability to lead by example, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively in a team setting.
Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Additional Skills & Qualifications :
Experience with assembly, hand tools, power tools, mechanical assembly, repair, and blueprint reading.

Pay and Benefits :
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.50 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
