Backbone Network Engineer

A company is looking for a Staff Backbone Network Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Design and architect backbone networks for optimal performance and availability

Collaborate with regional teams and external service providers for network routing and troubleshooting

Implement network automation and manage configurations using GitOps methodologies

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in designing and operating inter DC transport networks

In-depth knowledge of BGP, ISIS, and MPLS routing protocols

Experience with network automation tools such as Terraform and Python

Familiarity with monitoring tools like NetFlow and Grafana

Understanding of network security protocols including IPsec and DDoS mitigation
