Lead Python Engineer

Salary : $124,800 - 218,400 per year

Requirements :

• Proficient in Python (Expert level)
• Intermediate knowledge of SAS
• Basic understanding of Snowflake
• Basic skills in SQL Server
• Basic familiarity with IDMC / Power Center
• Knowledge of R is optional
• Additionally, I am looking for candidates who have :
• A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, computer science, economics, or engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of professional experience as a data scientist or in a similar role within a corporate setting.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools, particularly Jupyter with Python, Data Robot, and SAS.
• Experience using Business Intelligence tools, preferably Tableau.
• Proficiency in SQL, especially with Postgres SQL and T-SQL.
• At least 3 years of experience leading agile project delivery for analytical initiatives.
• A background in the Financial Services or Automotive Industry (preferred).

Responsibilities :

In this role, I expect you to leverage your skills to drive data-centered initiatives and support analytical project delivery. You will be responsible for the implementation of AI tools and methods, as well as utilizing BI tools to provide insights. Your experience with SQL will be crucial in analyzing data and guiding decision-making.

This is a full-time position, and we offer a competitive pay range of $60.00 - $105.00 per hour.
