Sales Representative Specialty Construction Products (Hybrid, Arizona)

We're seeking a driven and personable Sales Representative to join a high-performing team specializing in the sale and installation of middle school / high school 812 construction products. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on school and public facility projects across Arizona.
Location : Hybrid Phoenix Metro area
Travel : Moderate (primarily day trips, including twice-monthly travel to Tucson)
Compensation :
- Base Salary : $50,000
- Commission : Sliding scale based on project profitability
- Earning Potential : $150K+ (top reps earn $220K+)
About the Role :
In this role, you'll work directly with architects, school districts, and the broader A&D community to promote and sell specialty construction products. You'll be responsible for guiding projects from prospect to completion, helping shape high-impact environments like gymnasiums, schools, and public facilities.
Key Responsibilities :
Build relationships with architects and specifiers to influence early-stage project designPromote a wide range of specialty products across CSI Divisions 812 (including doors, finishes, gym equipment, furnishings, and moveable walls)Identify and pursue new project opportunities using Dodge data and construction leadsManage a pipeline of 3050 active projects, while tracking and nurturing 200+ prospectsSupport projects from early specification through installation, coordinating with internal operations and installation teamsTravel within the region as needed to maintain strong client relationships and ensure project successQualifications :
2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in construction or architectural productsStrong communication and relationship-building skillsProficiency with Excel, PDFs, and Microsoft Office SuiteTech-savvy and able to work independently with minimal supervisionComfortable traveling within Arizona and attending occasional multi-day company retreatsBachelor's degree preferred, but not required
