Job Description :

We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner specializing in holistic psychiatry to join our remote team. As a Nurse Practitioner in this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric care to patients using a holistic approach.

You will work closely with patients to address their mental health needs, incorporating various holistic modalities alongside traditional psychiatric practices.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct initial psychiatric assessments and evaluations through telehealth platforms.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on holistic principles, including lifestyle modifications, nutritional guidance, mindfulness practices, and complementary therapies.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications when necessary, taking into account holistic principles and potential side effects.
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, incorporating feedback and integrating new holistic techniques.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding holistic approaches to mental health and wellness.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including therapists, counselors, and holistic practitioners, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records using our designated system.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and continuing education opportunities to stay abreast of advancements in holistic psychiatry.

Requirements :

  • Current Nurse Practitioner license in California.
  • Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric nursing, with a focus on holistic approaches.
  • Proficiency in telehealth platforms and comfortable conducting virtual appointments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with patients remotely.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable access to a working computer and high-speed internet connection for remote work.
