Search Solution Group is seeking an IT Operations Specialist on behalf of our client, a leading company specializing in fashion accessories and jewelry , including jewelry, eyewear, textiles, and hair accessories. The company focuses on delivering innovative merchandising solutions, such as custom displays and digital content, to connect brands with customers both in-store and online.
The IT Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the organization's IT infrastructure by providing first-level technical support, managing IT resources, and ensuring seamless communication between North American operations and the global IT team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide first-level technical support to employees, ensuring timely issue resolution and follow-up.
- Support installation, configuration, troubleshooting, testing, maintenance, and resolution for all North American IT resources (e.g., Microsoft operating systems, iOS, Citrix, secure drives, SharePoint, MDM systems).
- Assist with the execution of local, regional (North America), and global IT projects and initiatives.
- Maintain accurate tracking and inventory of IT equipment, including issue tracking and device management compliance.
- Facilitate onboarding activities for new users and ensure seamless integration into IT systems.
- Collaborate effectively with the IT Operations team and coordinate with the German headquarters, considering time zone differences.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve IT processes and drive the implementation of effective solutions.
Requirements Include :
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.Experience :
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a desktop and hand-held device support role.Previous experience working with helpdesk ticketing systems.Experience supporting device management processes.Skills :
Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, Windows OS, MS Office, iOS, peripherals, networking (TCP / IP), Citrix, and SAP.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.Certifications :
Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, ITIL Foundation) preferred but not required.Knowledge :
Intermediate understanding of IT infrastructure and systems management.Familiarity with IT governance, helpdesk operations, and device lifecycle management.Key Competencies : Focus & Impact :
