Pay Range : $17.16 - $21.39 per hour
Position Summary
To assemble quality endoscope subassemblies while adhering to prescribed standards.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- 1‑2 years of experience assembling miniature precision medical products (preferred).
- Ability to understand assembly drawings and written procedures.
- Proficiency operating simple to moderately complex machinery.
- Experience with adhesives, solvents, microscopes, hand and power tools, measurement devices.
- Team‑oriented, able to work well with coworkers.
- Apply acquired job skills and company policies to complete assigned tasks; meet quality and customer requirements.
Essential Functions
Physical Requirements
Work overtime as needed.Punctual, adhere to attendance guidelines and assigned hours.Good manual dexterity and eye‑hand coordination.Sharp vision and attention to detail.Perform detailed assembly work with a microscope for extended periods.Mental Requirements
Quickly learn new processes and procedures.Make decisions affecting product quality and coworkers.Responsibilities
Assemble intricate optical and mechanical components following written procedures; inspect and perform quality checks.Identify and resolve problems with team; elevate as necessary.Produce quality endoscope subassemblies within production and quality guidelines.Maintain awareness of current management practices.Perform sub‑assembly and disassembly, basic endoscope and shaft assemblies, brazing, and laser welding.Train others on higher‑skill tasks and perform lower‑skill tasks when needed.Maintain production records; notify personnel about material performance and stock levels.Complete required production documents (time and labor sheets).Clean and maintain personal and work areas.Health & Safety
Must commit to a high standard of safety and comply with all environmental and safety regulations, including ISO 14001. Report potential violations to supervisors. Handle solvents, chemicals, and adhesives safely. Inform management of any medical circumstances that may affect safe performance of duties.
Quality
Adhere to FDA Quality System Regulation, ISO 13485, and ISO 9001 policies and procedures.
