Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience in program management. Certifications in Six Sigma Black Belt, Auditor or equivalent certification / experience. 4 years of work experience analyzing data and creating reports with strong statistical, quantitative modeling, and forecasting skills. Knowledge of mechanical standards, mechanical and infrastructure equipment applied to mission critical operations or data centers (e.g., EN, ISO, IATF, APQP). Knowledge in design of experiments, statistical analysis and process control. Familiar with application of statistical analysis tools such as Minitab / ANOVA. Ability to travel up to 20% of the time as needed.

You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities include working with suppliers managing quality of complex mechanical infrastructure systems to solve complex product quality and process issues across the full product lifecycle. Conducting audits and inspections of supplier production facilities. Connecting production line metrics and audits to field performance. Articulating quality improvement activities to reduce variability, improve predictability, responsiveness, output quality, monitor Factory Witness and Acceptance Testing. Performing 8D Failure Analysis to execute systemic corrective actions with demonstrated preventative solutions. Managing validation of supplier's build / test processes and ensuring they are meeting Google requirements. Validating supplier product life cycle Quality deliverables defined by Google and leveraging industry quality standards. Collaborating with design engineers, commodity managers, manufacturing engineers, operation program managers, and product managers to drive high-quality products.
