In this role, you will manage and implement our quality control systems, lead a team of quality engineers, ensure compliance with aerospace regulations, customer requirements, and relevant quality standards, as well as, develop, implement, and maintain aerospace-specific quality management systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards such as AS9100.

Job Details

Responsibilities :

1. Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality plan to bring the company’s Quality Systems and Policies into compliance with quality system requirements.

2. Effectively interact with Production and Development teams to maintain product supply and help introduce new products.

3. Work with external stakeholders to understand and respond to their needs and expectations and to manage the quality aspects of the business relationship.

4. Conduct audits, creating audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions.

5. Analyze failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to customer complaints.

6. Manage the continuous improvement program and coordinate all activities within the program.

7. Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation.

8. Understand, evaluate, and apply technical information.

9. Set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures.

10. Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and produce statistical reports.

11. Supervise technical staff in carrying out tests and checks.

12. Ensure tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Business Administration or a related field.

2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Management role in the Manufacturing industry.

3. Proficiency in AS9100, Continuous Improvement, Audits, NADCAP, aerospace or equivalent.

4. Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and relevant regulatory compliance.

5. Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

7. Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.

8. Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team of Quality Assurance Analysts.

9. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and databases.

10. Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of Quality Management.

11. Certified Quality Manager (CQM)
