Area West Environmental, Inc. – On-Call Biologist

Area West Environmental, Inc. (AWE) is an environmental consulting firm in the Sacramento area seeking an On-Call Biologist.  If you are interested in putting your skills to use at an established, well-respected, and growing woman-owned small business, look no further. This position will report to a project located in Larkspur, CA. Applicants must have experience with anadromous fish and clapper / Ridgeway’s rail. The applicant should have relevant experience conducting comprehensive biological surveys, preparing environmental compliance, and permitting documentation, and  coordinating with clients and constructions crews. The typical work week for this project is Monday-Saturday, 10 hours each day.

Education Requirements :

• Must have a Bachelor’s (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred) degree in Biology, Environmental Science, or a closely related field.
