Why This Role Matters
Animation has the power to transform real-life stories into compelling visual narratives. As our
Animator , you’ll help bring migrant and refugee experiences to life through short clips and emotionally resonant scenes. Your work will amplify voices across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Substack—connecting audiences to stories that might otherwise go untold.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll animate original short-form content, helping migrant stories reach global audiences.
You’ll collaborate with illustrators, storytellers, and creative producers, ensuring narratives resonate across cultures.
You’ll match tone, emotion, and style to the heart of each story, bringing authenticity to every piece.
You’ll help develop repeatable animation formats for social media use, supporting long-term visibility.
You’ll offer creative input on pacing, transitions, and scene development, contributing to storytelling craft.
You’ll assist with formatting animations for cross-platform publishing, ensuring wide reach and accessibility.
What You Bring
A mindset for creative problem-solving. You enjoy trying new things.
Openness to diverse perspectives. You know the best ideas come from collaboration.
Experience with 2D / 3D animation, motion graphics, or digital illustration.
Proficiency in tools like After Effects, Blender, Moho, or similar software.
Ability to work with rough audio, voiceovers, or illustrations and transform them into polished animations.
Flexibility and openness to feedback, with an eye for subtle emotion and timing.
Bonus : experience on social impact campaigns, explainer videos, or justice-driven projects.
