Manager, Systems Administration
Peraton is seeking a Manager, Systems Administration, to support an Intelligence Community customer in the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area.
Responsibilities
Manage a team of Systems Administrators to include the planning / scheduling of tasks, training and mentorship to personnel, ensuring proper resourcing, and status reporting to senior management.
Determine candidates for employment / termination, conduct performance evaluations and salary reviews for assigned staff and is responsible for the application of company policies.
Plans, directs, and coordinates all sustainment activities for a portfolio of Joint Operation & Intelligence Center Applications across multiple functional areas and products.
Ensures team is meeting contractual O&M Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Ensures best practices are in place, while mentoring, leading, and collaborating with other software / systems engineers, system administrators, and security personnel (ISSO / ISSE) across the task order to bolster organization capabilities and resiliency.
Directs sustainment activities to include, ensuring that sustainment projects are completed on time and according to quality standards, facilitating communication upward and across project team including project status, justifications for variances and technical information.
Prioritizes and allocates projects, products, and resources with the assistance of project managers, software / systems engineers, system administrators and ISSO / ISSEs.
Participates in the strategic decisions about technology, definition, and implementation of the Joint Operation & Intelligence Center Applications and their long-term sustainment requirements.
Provides task direction and guidance to less experienced team members.
Responsible for process improvement initiatives as they relate to sustainment efforts.
Investigates problems and develops disposition and recommended corrective actions.

Target Salary Range
$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
