JOB DESCRIPTION
Description :
- Support assembly plant with Stop Ships / Stop Builds, Campaigns, Audits, Root Cause Analysis and other Quality issues.
- Lead engineering design changes for future minor product launches.
- Work closely with Supplier partners for sub-system components to address quality concerns
- Issue engineering Alerts and initiate & pursue authorization of engineering Concerns for product changes to support Quality objectives
- Engage technical experts and functional team members for driving resolution and in developing corrective actions to improve product Quality
Skills Required :
Demonstrated technical problem-solving skills -Ability to establish a systems engineering approach to problem solving -Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills -Excellent presentation / communication skills -Proficiency in Microsoft Office -Engineering Problem Solving;
root cause identification and analysis, developing Containment Actions and Permanent Corrective Actions -Working in a fast-paced challenging environment.
Skills Preferred :
Six-Sigma Training (green belt or black belt)
Experience Required :
Experience in automotive or manufacturing industry
Experience Preferred :
Experience with automotive systems, especially chassis, suspension, braking, powertrain. Change management experience.
