Fits mechanical parts and subassemblies into different types of machinery and products. Conducts measures of products and adjusts them. Works according to established trade and shop practices, may conduct minor repairs of machines and systems. Typically has 3-5 years of experience and works under broad supervision.MATERIAL HANDLER
Located in Colfax, NC, Tenn-Tex Plastics, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of high-quality injection-molded plastic parts. Focusing on product development and customer service, Tenn-Tex Plastics specializes in furniture, kitchen & bath cabinetry, and hardware distribution markets.
Material handlers work in teams of 2 and are responsible for 26 plastic injection molding machines. Handlers must properly calculate the mixing of raw materials based on weight and volume and move skids of boxed product from the plant to the warehouse to be wrapped and staged.
