APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Bel Air, MD looking to add an Insurance Customer Service Representative to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to manage all aspects of client insurance accounts, including renewals, policy maintenance, and client communication. Keep reading for more details!

Prepare insurance summaries, schedules, and proposals for account reviewsManage renewal process, including marketing, client outreach, proposal creation, and policy accuracy checksConduct 120-day pre-renewal reviews and ensure all updates, applications, and loss runs are completed on timeReview and verify policy renewals, audits, and changes; coordinate corrections with clients and carriersMaintain and update files in the agency management systemRespond promptly to client emails, mail, and service requestsVerify and address cancellations or billing issues, working to retain accounts when possibleProcess payments, issue receipts, and assist clients with claims reporting and follow-upPrioritize tasks with producers to ensure efficient and timely processing of workMaintain professional, positive relationships with clients, team members, and carriersStay current on insurance products, coverages, and industry updatesWhat we are looking for :
High school diploma or equivalent2+ years as a Customer Service Rep in the insurance industryIn-depth knowledge of property and casualty insurance products and coveragesUnderstanding of rating procedures, coverage options, and insurance operationsFamiliarity with insurance markets, underwriting processes, and rating methodologiesKnowledge of—or willingness to learn—the QQ Catalyst Agency Management SystemProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and ExcelActive Property and Casualty License preferred or must be willing to obtain within 90 daysAt Apex, we actively encourage applications from underrepresented groups.
