The Role
As we accelerates our growth across the utilities sector, we\'re looking for a Director of Engineering to lead the architecture, development, and delivery of AiDASH’s next-generation solutions that enable utilities to inspect, monitor, and maintain critical infrastructure at scale. In this strategic leadership role, you’ll own engineering for AIMS (Asset Inspection & Monitoring System) , an early-stage product, and drive the continued evolution of our flagship IVMS (Intelligent Vegetation Management System) - advancing both toward a unified, AI-driven Grid Inspection Platform that reimagines how utilities inspect and manage their networks.
This is an opportunity to define the technical vision and execution strategy for the products that power the future of utility operations - where AI, machine learning, and satellite data converge to deliver predictive insights and operational excellence. In this role, you’ll ensure our systems are designed for performance, scalability, and security, while fostering a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, and accountability.
Reporting to the Co-Founder and Chief Product & Technology Officer , you’ll lead a high-performing engineering team and collaborate closely with Product, Data Science, and Design leaders to translate ambitious ideas into robust, production-ready solutions. You’ll also work with customers and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure our technology roadmap aligns with evolving business priorities and industry demands.

We offer a competitive base salary range of $240,000 to $275,000 per year for this full-time position. This range reflects the anticipated annual salary for new hires. In addition to the base salary, this role also offers an annual performance bonus and equity compensation as part of our commitment to shared success.
