The Air Dominance and Strike Mechanical Engineering Team is responsible for designing and integrating advanced hardware for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms. Air Dominance and Strike Mechanical Engineers own the full development lifecycle, from concept generation, to integration and flight test, ensuringhigh-performance, resilient, and scalable mechanical systems that meet the demands ofcomplex, contested environments.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of avionics and mission systems within aircraft.
  • Create and modify 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for secondary structures and system components. Large assembly model management.
  • Conduct simulations and analyses to validate designs against performance requirements and regulatory standards (hand calculations and FEA).
  • Build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into production
  • Lead design reviews, run analysis, visit vendors, define and execute hardware test plans
  • Support critical hardware demonstrations with customers as needed
  • Travel to test sites as needed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.S. in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience in aircraft systems integration
  • Siemens NX proficiency
  • Excellent communication and team skills
  • Familiarity with aircraft and military standards
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • PLM experience (Teamcenter, Windchill)
  • Active Top secret DoD clearance
  • Unmanned Air Vehicle design experience
US Salary Range$129,000—$171,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
