Automation Architect

Job Summary :

We are seeking a senior-level, highly hands-on Automation Lead / Systems Quality Assurance Analyst to drive UAT and automation efforts for mission-critical commercial banking applications, including specialized ATM testing. This role requires an experienced professional who can combine strategic process ownership with deep technical expertise in automation (specifically with Selenium / Java and ALM Octane).

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong background in enterprise financial services, capable of operating independently, mentoring less experienced staff, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Business Stakeholders. This is a crucial role for ensuring product quality, managing risk, and streamlining overall testing processes.

Salary : $62 - 65 per hour

Work Hours : 8am to 5pm

Responsibilities : Qualifications :

• 5+ years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and / or User Acceptance Testing (UAT) within commercial banking or enterprise financial services.
• ALM Octane REQUIRED : Proven, hands-on experience utilizing ALM Octane for test management and defect tracking.
• Strong, hands-on experience designing and automating regression test cases with Selenium and Java.
• Proficiency with other key testing tools, including Jira and general ALM platforms.
• Demonstrated understanding of automation frameworks, test strategy development, and establishing end-to-end traceability.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and analytical skills with a proven ability to consult with mid-level managers and technical peers.
• Location Requirement : Must be local to Charlotte, NC, and committed to working 100% Onsite (5 Days / Week) at the CIC Center. No hybrid or remote options are available.
