American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Nashville, Tennessee.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position requiring both L&D and mother-baby care, with rotations between units.

Responsibilities

  • Position covers Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby units in a hospital setting
  • LDRP nursing duties with required floating between L&D and Mother Baby
  • Care may include interactions with the prison population
  • Day shifts, 3x12 hours (7 : 00 am - 7 : 00 pm)
  • Duties include nursing care for laboring mothers and post-partum patients
  • Must be comfortable working with patients from diverse backgrounds including the prison population
  • Pre-start modules and HealthStream trainings must be completed before orientation
  • Labs must be completed within 72 hours of signing
  • Compliance with all onboarding requirements is mandatory prior to start

    • Requirements

  • Active RN license in TN or multi-state compact RN license required
  • Minimum one year of experience in L&D and mother baby units required
  • Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, CPI (or MAB), NIH, AWHONN, NRP
  • First-time travelers and local candidates accepted
  • Must provide two professional references
  • Driver’s license and Social Security Number required for consideration
