Job Description

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' unique circumstances and devise individualized therapy strategies to help them achieve their recovery objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply proven therapeutic methods to boost patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and activities of daily living
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work hand in hand with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver well-rounded patient care
• Educate Patients and Families: Empower patients and their loved ones by teaching effective therapy techniques for continued progress outside of the clinical setting
• Evaluate and Document Progress: Monitor patient development closely and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized program
• Encouragement and support for continuing education or additional certifications

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential
