Core Responsibilities :
- Welcoming and engaging with customers as they enter the store
- Assessing customers’ needs and suggesting solutions to their problems
- Working with the point-of-sale terminals to process sales
- Setting and attaining individual sales goals
- Giving customers advice about sales and promotions
- Packing and process orders for shipping both in store
- Using upselling techniques to increase store sales
- Recommending the best products to customers
- Cleaning and restocking the store
This position for the store is located in Ada, MI. This position reports to the store owner and will work with them to identify areas for improvement and expansion.
Strong customer service skills and effective communication
- Ability to stand on your feet for the length of your shift
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly with or without reasonable accommodations
- Computer literacy
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload
- Preferred qualification- 0-12 months of previous retail or clerical experience
