Substance Use Treatment Counselor

CoreCivic is seeking a dedicated Substance Use Treatment Counselor to join our team. At CoreCivic, we do more than manage individuals; we care for people and strive to create lasting improvements in the lives of those in our care.

Your future role will involve :

• Conducting interviews and assessments with program participants to identify individual and group needs.
• Facilitating individual and group treatment interventions, in line with regulatory requirements and CoreCivic guidelines.
• Encouraging participant engagement in the treatment process by promoting positive attitudes, coping skills, and recovery strategies.
• Maintaining confidentiality of clinical files and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations regarding participant information.
• Documenting and tracking treatment plans while monitoring and reviewing the progress of participants to ensure successful completion of programs.
