As a Substance Use Counselor, you will be responsible for :
- Conducting interviews and comprehensive assessments of program participants, while establishing rapport and determining individual and group needs.
- Facilitating both individual and group treatment sessions in compliance with regulatory standards and partner agency guidelines.
- Engaging participants in the treatment process and utilizing therapeutic tools to promote ongoing recovery.
- Ensuring confidentiality and maintaining accurate clinical records in accordance with regulations.
- Documenting and monitoring treatment plans, inmate progress, and verifying completion of therapeutic programs.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.At least one year of experience in mental health or substance use counseling is preferred.Must possess a valid LCDC Intern license.A valid driver's license is required.Must be at least 18 years of age.At CoreCivic, you will enjoy benefits such as :
