Salary : About the Role
Park is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to supportmental health program development, clinical service delivery, and staff training. This is a leadership role combining direct patient care, policy development, and crisis response to strengthen behavioral health services in a secure setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop mental health workflows, policies, and protocols.
- Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and crisis response.
- Collaborate with leadership, social services, and community partners for coordinated care.
- Lead staff training on suicide prevention, crisis care, and psychiatric best practices.
- Establish and maintain collaborative practice agreements with medical directors.
- Monitor quality standards, regulatory compliance, and data tracking.
- Participate in on-call rotation for urgent psychiatric needs.
Qualifications
Education : MSN, DNP, or PhD in Nursing with PMHNP specialization.Licensure : Unrestricted Michigan RN & NP license with PMHNP certification.Experience : Minimum 2 years in psychiatry, crisis intervention, or behavioral health.Skills : Strong clinical judgment, leadership, communication, and training abilities.Experience with suicide prevention protocols and trauma-informed care preferred.Why Join Park
