Position Information

This position pays $34.26 per hour.

This position may be eligible for annual incentive pay and contracted increases as determined by the collective bargaining agreement,  and you will have the opportunity for continued salary growth.

Primary Role

Candidates will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of water treatment facilities, tank sites, and booster stations. This includes water quality testing, pump operations, the ability to follow and understand IEPA Water Quality regulations.

Key Accountabilities

• Have a strong knowledge of safety and operations policies and procedures.
• Responsible for routine water quality lab sampling, regulating flow of the water treatment plant, maintaining required pressure, and ensuring IEPA requirements are met.
• Play an active role in the development and maintenance of SOPs.
• Support planning and execution of capital work.
• Perform routine calibrations on instrumentation.
• Utilize system of records (i.e. - Map Call, Waterly, GIS) as required.
• Administration tasks in both written and oral formats.
• Strong communication with management on daily operations of water treatment facilities.
