Under the direction of the Computer Applications Support Manager (CASM) and the Crime Information bureau Chief, the incumbent in this position assists with supervision, administration and resolution of operational and management problems pertaining to the activities of the Bureau. This position is responsible for providing management consultant services to the Division, Department, and other agencies to improve operations and ensure efficient and effective accomplishments of agency objectives. Additionally, this position supervises employees assigned to the maintenance, data processing and dissemination functions related to the Computerized Criminal History file. This position is responsible streamlining functions to promote efficient and effective processing. Provides research analysis relative to laws, rules and regulations the directly or indirectly have an impact on criminal justice data. Provides administrative assistance and support to the CASM and Bureau Chief in such areas as auditing daily activity reports, preparing employee performance evaluations, evaluating unit work load status and individual employee progress. Develops and maintains personal contact for information / corrective action reports by the private sector, municipal, county, state and federal agencies.

Base salary : $63,036.22
