Inventory / MRP Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory / MRP Specialist to manage and organize our component storage room, support system implementation, and ensure accurate inventory tracking. This role is ideal for someone with strong computer skills and a passion for process improvement. You will play a key role in transitioning operations to CETEC, maintaining accurate part numbers, and supporting purchasing and inventory management functions as the role grows.

Responsibilities :

• Maintain and organize the storage room for small components.
• Receive incoming components, verify accuracy, and prepare them for assembly at third-party manufacturing facilities.
• Track inventory levels and ensure proper documentation.
• Manage part numbers and maintain consistency across systems.
• Assist in migrating data from Excel to CETEC.
• Ensure accurate setup of part numbers and inventory data in the new system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ERP / MRP-related issues during implementation.
• Prepare and package components.
• Collaborate with purchasing to support inventory control and replenishment.
• Generate reports and maintain accurate records using Excel and related tools.

Work Environment :

The position is 100% onsite with core hours from 10 AM to 3 PM. The work environment consists of a smaller facility with 35 people, focusing on R&D work on prototypes. All manufacturing is done through third-party contracting, and the storage room serves as the 'warehouse' for small components. The role requires flexibility, a proactive attitude, and the ability to wear many hats in a dynamic setting.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasadena, CA.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
