We are looking for an enthusiastic Vice President (VP) of Marketing who will not
only execute in the trenches, but also provide strategic leadership from a
market and demand creation perspective.
Vice President (VP) of Marketing duties and responsibilities
- Take responsibility for annual marketing plan, strategy, and team.
- Identify and plan differentiated and impactful marketing strategies and enablement materials for both sales and partner sales teams.
- Manage marketing budget and expenditures.
- Build, manage and coach a high-performing marketing team.
- Drive the implementation of marketing campaigns that meet business objectives and drive leads across web, social, paid ads, trade shows, webinars, and other marketing channels.
- Build marketing strategies to effectively create awareness and generate leads by working with channel partners.
- Direct and support analyst relations activities to help position Litmus as an industry leader.
- Work closely with the sales and partner organizations to align sales and marketing strategies.
- Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and communications channels.
- Identify competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise counterstrategies.
- Build long term relationships with internal SMEs, customers, partners, and industry influencers.
Vice President (VP) of Marketing qualifications and requirements
- Previous working experience as a Head of Marketing at a growth stage enterprise software company
- Previous experience and knowledge of the manufacturing and industrial automation markets
- Previous experience working with data and cloud related companies.
- Data driven marketing leader with a focus on understanding how marketing spend is influencing ROI and revenue across every marketing channel.
- Strong experience at identifying and building repeatable and predictable lead generation channels across various marketing mediums.
- Experience creating and building social and online communities.
- Experience building and scaling high performing marketing teams.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Sense of ownership and pride building something foundational
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player and ability to work closely with peers across other business functions.
