Responsibilities & Requirements

The Director of Student Success provides vision, leadership, and direct support for a comprehensive set of student services that drive retention, engagement, and overall student achievement at Kettering College. This position oversees the Student Success team (academic coaching and success initiatives), tutoring and writing support services, the Office of Disability Services, the Testing Center, and serves as the College's Title IX Coordinator.

The Director is both a strategic leader and hands-on practitioner. They develop and assess student success initiatives, ensure federal and state compliance (Title IX, ADA / Section 504, and the Clery Act), and manage institutional reporting obligations. They also personally conduct student intakes for disability services, support students through the accommodation process, and may engage directly in academic coaching or success planning as needed.

In addition, the Director leads the College's early alert and intervention systems, manages the Contract for Success program, and drives initiatives to strengthen the first-year experience with the goal of improving student retention and progression.
