The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for accelerating growth throughout the assigned region by prospecting and developing business with key decision makers.
The RSM will proactively drive the sales cycle from prospecting to close and is expected to be the subject matter expert for the complete portfolio of DMP X1 Access Control solutions, hardware and software, as well as systems and components supported through integrations.
This position will cover the western half of the US.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in security, IT or SaaS sales
- 2+ years of experience selling in a defined region developing direct channel partner sales.
- Security Industry sales experience with access control, video management, intrusion detection or related physical security technologies is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and presentation.
- Be coachable and demonstrate self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm in a professional manner.
- Live in the assigned region near a major airport.
Responsibilities :
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales revenue goals.
- Prospect, recruit, onboard and develop new resellers in the assigned region while growing revenue with existing independent and supporting strategic accounts resellers.
- Identify and cultivate end user opportunities for direct engagement and channel pull through.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the X1 access control platform including supported devices and integration and effectively demonstrate X1 hardware and user interface to resellers, consultants, end-users, and other interested parties.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
