Responsibilities :
- Utilize statistical techniques to analyze data, reconcile inconsistencies, and present findings via tables, charts, reports, and statistical models using Microsoft Excel, Access, and SQL.
- Identify, dissect, and interpret trends within complex datasets.
- Develop, execute, maintain, and troubleshoot intricate scripts and reports utilizing SQL, Excel, and other analytical tools.
- Research publicly accessible information from sources such as company websites, financial statements, SEC, Department of Labor, and other regulatory filings, summarizing findings appropriately.
- Filter and refine data for accuracy and relevance.
- Promptly address assigned data files, exercising judgment in resolving issues, including escalation when necessary.
- Collaborate with attorneys and practice support to manage and prioritize workflow efficiently.
- Maintain, organize, and update client files accurately.
- Demonstrate ingenuity and persistence in problem-solving using publicly available resources.
- Work collaboratively within the team to ensure error-free deliverables.
- Show initiative and creativity in enhancing analysis techniques and protocols.
Qualifications :
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Proficiency in Excel and Access, including pivot tables, macros, and advanced formulas.
- Experience in data analysis and related tools (e.g., SQL).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and data processing skills.
- Effective problem-solving abilities based on precedent or prior experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a positive, cooperative manner.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines consistently.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to provide courteous client service.
- Typing speed of at least 65 WPM.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
Education :
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Experience :
- A minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible, directly related experience demonstrating relevant knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Preferably experienced in accounting, finance, economics, or statistics.
- Previous exposure to legal or financial environments is advantageous.
