Responsibilities
Review and approve the accurate and timely financial statements and supporting information, including monthly management fees calculations and file distributions (rebillings for U.S. CHR properties, payroll processing and miscellaneous invoice allocations for rebills, telecommunications accounts, bank account payroll analysis allocations for rebills, postpaid expenses, end-of-month reconciliations for CHR Operating, Insurance, and Canadian accounts, processing commission invoices for eight recipients, allocation of expenses to corresponding properties for rebills, and maintaining active / disposed property filings).Review and approve End-Of-Month journal entries and general ledger reconciliations, research / reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, maintain / update balance sheet Excel management, and review and post all batches / journals entered by CHR accounting staff.Review and approve analyzed monthly / bi-monthly / quarterly / annual financial statements and management reports in a timely manner.Review and approve recorded and maintained fixed asset purchases and applicable depreciation and amortization schedules.Review and approve monthly lease schedules and preparation of lease payments (including utilities as appropriate and directed).Review and approve variance analyses to budget and forecast.Review and approve oversight of compilation for annual and periodic budget information.Review and approve employee expense report processing.Approve and direct the review / administration of tax compliance, including Annual Corporate Tax Filings and Monthly Sales Tax Filings, including benefits of 401K and Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation funding plans.Review and approve monthly Goods and Services Tax entries.Review and approve all corporate banking transactions.Review and approve monthly cash flow analysis.Review and approve daily routines and month-end procedures.Review and approve the accounting for inventory, accounts receivable and payables.Review and approve responses to various queries and requests from external / internal auditors.Maintain accountability for accounts payable, receivable and payroll.Ensure GAAP is adhered to appropriately.Understand, guide and implement effective internal controls to meet Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.Filing of Ohio BWC bi-monthly workers' compensation and submittal payments.Annually calculate, track, and bill incentive fees and SESAC licensing fees for the portfolio.Review and approve all balance sheet and year-end statements.Prepare Corporate Budget and oversee Project Management Accounting.Oversee Corporate Payroll Department.Requirements
A minimum of 15 years of related progressive experience in Accounting, Finance, Purchasing, Information Technology, Operations, and Program Management or related field.Effective problem-solving skills in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.Ability to assemble complex information from disparate sources and adapt it to meet constraints.Ability to prioritize departmental functions to meet due dates and deadlines.Leadership Qualities

Crescent Hotels is a multi-state employer and salary ranges may reflect positions in other states.
