Job Description

The Senior Vice President Workplace Strategy will develop workplace strategy solutions and lead client-facing engagements around the future of work return to office space programming and portfolio addition to a consulting planning and technical background the role requires strong presentation and organizational skills. 20-25% travel is required for this role.

What this job involves :

Sales & Subject Matter Expertise :

Partner with our brokers for business development pursuits proposals and client service delivery

Develop implement and manage Workplace Strategy engagements

This will include benchmarking current spaces and comparing to industry peers or researching an organizations current workplace environment and identifying areas of potential improvements related to space usage culture or demographics.

Lead programming efforts employee surveys test-fits business interviews utilization studies mobility assessments visioning sessions and focus groups.

Collaborate with JLL Marketing and Research to create workplace collateral and thought leadership pieces

Refine and localize the workplace service offering (process tools and deliverables) to be relevant in your market

Understand the real estate project life cycle and be able to gather and analyze data and develop insights to inform and business decisions specific to existing and future client requirement

Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) by staying abreast of current workplacetrends across industries and geographies.

Represent JLLs workplace team at relevant industry forums and professional associations

Relationship Management / Delivery :

Maintain strong working relationships with internal customers (brokers leadership etc.) and key clients

Steer the direction of workplace projects and oversee the process / output of your team to ensure a high level of execution and client satisfaction

Act as escalation point for delivery issues

The Candidate :

The successful candidate will have a strong combination of Workplace Strategy Workplace Experience and / or Occupancy Planning experience the ability to win business and deliver workplace projects.

Requirements :

Bachelors degree (Required)

MBA or advanced degree and / or certifications (Preferred)

10-15 years related experience in Workplace strategy architecture consulting corporate real estate facilities management project management construction management design human resources organizational development communications or change management roles

Strong background in business development and point-of-sale presentation skills

Impeccable and concise communication and presentation skills verbal and written

Strong time management skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines

People management experience

Proficiency in AutoCad REVIT BIM or other drafting technologies is (Required)

Proficiency in CAFM / IWMS system or other workplace technologies is (Preferred)

Knowledge & Abilities :

Ability to work both independently and cooperatively in an agile environment including virtual collaboration with remote colleagues

Ability to multi-task in high-pressure deadline driven environments

Previously managed multiple projects and coordinated activities for various individuals / groups

Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative research data and synthesize into meaningful and actionable results

Energetic creative and willing to work hard in a fast-paced environment; enjoys variety and challenges of consulting work

An entrepreneurial orientation with strong understanding of the business development challenges in the Real Estate advisory services sector

Workplace program implementation experience in a corporate setting working alongside cross-functional real estate facilities IT HR finance and change management teams (Preferred)

INFLUENCE : Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal. Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization. Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT : Knows how to effectively structure staff and manage projects and teams to insure there is clarity of expectation timely execution corrective action when needed and successful outcomes.

ANALYTICS : Has a structured approach to problem solving with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.

CHARACTER : Resilient curious and resourceful.

FLEXIBLE & ADAPTABLE : Able to work in ambiguous situations with optimistic inclinations.

Estimated compensation for this position :

160000..00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications location market conditions and internal considerations.
