Job Title: Accounts Payable Analyst

Position Summary
The Accounts Payable Analyst will support the accurate and timely processing of invoices and utility payments. This entry-level role involves validating invoices, resolving discrepancies, and assisting with general AP tasks while ensuring compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Process and validate invoices (PO and non-PO) accurately and on time.
• Assist with coding and processing utility statements.
• Follow up on invoice exceptions and support issue resolution.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
• Participate in daily team huddles and maintain performance standards.
• Support additional AP tasks as needed (e.g., mail review).

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems (training provided if needed).
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable or administrative support (5Â years minimum).
• Oil & Gas industry exposure is a plus.
